FY 2025 CoC Builds Program Funding

The HUD Continuum of Care Builds Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) for federal fiscal year 2025 was re-released, the third time, on September 8, 2025. It outlines requirements for the CoC Builds Program grant, administered by HUD.

The purpose of this NOFO is to target efforts within CoC geographic areas to address and reduce persons experiencing homelessness by adding new units of permanent supportive housing through new construction, acquisition, or rehabilitations. A local application solicitation process has been initiated by the CoC to obtain applications for review and ranking. Once a final application is recommended and approved by the CoC Council, a final version of the application will be submitted to HUD via Grants.gov. Important dates to note for the 2025 Butte CoC Competition
September 8, 2025: FY 25  CoC Builds Program Local Application Process Opens 
September 9, 2025: Local Application due to the CoC by 5 p.m. to [email protected]
September 10, 2025: Tentative date for Review & Ranking Panel 
September 11, 2025: Review &Ranking Panel Makes Application Recommendation to CoC Council 
September 12, 2025: Final HUD Application Submission due by 12:00 pm Pacific Time
