Before Training
Training Day
After Initial Training — Agency Specific Training & Homework
review/grade your work.
- Log in to the training site. No later than 4 PM the business day before your training, you will receive an email from [email protected] with your username, password, and login link. Log in right away to confirm access. If you have any issues please refer to these login instructions. If you are still unable to log into the training site, email [email protected] immediately.
- Sign the End User Agreement. You will be prompted to sign it on first login. Complete this before training day to avoid delays.
- Read the Training Packet. Download and review the Training Packet.
- Bring what you need. In-person trainings: bring a laptop issued by your employer, have access to your email, and bring something to take notes with — Wi-Fi is provided on site.
Training Day
- Be on time. Training starts promptly at 8:00 AM. If you are more than 10 minutes late, your training will be rescheduled and your agency CHO Administrator will be notified.
- Login trouble? Contact [email protected] immediately.
After Initial Training — Agency Specific Training & Homework
- Complete your homework within 3 business days. After training you will connect with your agency’s CHO Administrator who will provide agency specific HMIS training (workflow, agency specific processes, questions, and programs), and you will take a written test. Once you have completed your agency specific training, your CHO Administrator will give you a homework assignment. The written test and the homework assignment must be completed while you are “on the clock” (at work). Your supervisor, peers, or [email protected] can help if needed.

- Corrections. If your homework has errors, it will be returned to you to correct within 1 business day.
- Live site access. Once your homework is complete and error-free, you will be notified and granted access to the live HMIS site.
