PIT Information

The Point-in-Time Count, or PIT Count, is an annual survey of unhoused persons in the United States conducted by local agencies called Continuums of Care (CoCs) on behalf of the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).  The PIT is conducted one day a year in a 24-hour period.  This year's PIT will be conducted on January 29, 2025.
